Year 9 Workshop - Your Life, Your Choice, Your Future
This workshop is suitable for:
- Year 9 England
- S2 Scotland
- Year 10 Northern Ireland
DURATION OF WORKSHOP: Approximately 1 hour
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
This workshop is designed to help children make the correct decisions
when it comes to their options instead of following their friends. In
this workshop children will work interactively and develop an understanding
of the importance of their choices with regards to their future. Children
will be encouraged to think about what they truly want from their lives
and then set goals in order to achieve their dreams. This workshop is
about encouraging children to take responsibility for their lives and
their future. This workshop will also teach these children about the power
of their minds in making their lives better, happier and more successful.
Your Life, Your Choice, Your Future aims to help children: -
- Feel motivated through discussion and feel more inspired to achieve more with their lives.
- Develop an understanding of the importance of these choice they make at this stage in their lives in helping them shape their lives for the future.
- Develop their confidence to do what they want as opposed to following their friends.
- Understand that every action or inaction they make will have a direct consequence to their future encouraging them to take responsibility for their lives.
- Feel motivated and inspired filled with hope for the future.
- Develop an understanding of Positive Thinking.
FLEXIBILITY
Small Steps to Success fully appreciates that schools all work differently
therefore we are willing to be flexible with schools depending on their
specific wants and needs.
Travelling expenses will be charged at 40p per mile.
